Welcome to the
Neuroqueer Career™
Virtual Summit 2026!
A free two-day virtual summit for queer, neurodivergent, disabled, and multiply-marginalized professionals ready to reimagine work, success, and sustainability.
The Future of Work is Neuroinclusive
The standard career advice you’ve been given wasn’t built for you.
A lot of career advice feels like it was written for someone else.
Update your LinkedIn.
Network more.
Personal brand harder.
Learn to "executive function."
Push through burnout.
Smile more.
Just be confident.
Mask better.
Most career spaces still assume there is one “right” way to work, network, succeed, communicate, lead, grow, and JUST BE PROFESSIONAL.
But if you’re queer, neurodivergent, disabled, chronically ill, burned out, underemployed, self-employed, job searching, pivoting, or trying to build a career without abandoning yourself…
you already know the usual advice often falls short!
If you've ever sat through career advice thinking...
"Well, that sounds great and all... maybe IF I weren't autistic."
"That would probably work... IF I weren't navigating chronic illness."
"I don't need another productivity hack. Please, I just need a career that doesn't consume my entire nervous system."
...you're in the right place.
WHAT IF there was A Virtual Event That Your Nervous System Approves Of?
Imagine speakers who actually understand masking.
Imagine conversations about burnout that don't end with "just take a vacation."
Imagine networking that doesn't feel like speed dating in business casual.
Imagine learning from people who know what it's like to navigate work while autistic, ADHD, disabled, queer, chronically ill, or gloriously outside the norm.
Imagine leaving with practical tools instead of impossible expectations.
That's what we're building!
This summit
is for you
if you’re asking:
How do I build a career that actually fits my brain, body, values, and life?
How do I navigate job searching, interviews, resumes, LinkedIn, entrepreneurship, accommodations, money, burnout, and workplace systems without constantly feeling like I’m failing?
How do I grow professionally without shrinking myself?
How do I find people who actually understand what it means to be queer, neurodivergent, disabled, or multiply-marginalized at work?
If any of that feels familiar, your people are in here!
What You’ll Experience
Over two days, you’ll hear from speakers, educators, advocates, entrepreneurs, coaches, and lived-experience experts exploring what sustainable career growth can look like beyond the status quo.

-
Burnout recovery, nervous system support, self-care, energy management, sustainable productivity, and work-life integration.
-
Workplace accommodations, ADA rights, documentation, self-advocacy, communication, and navigating systems that weren’t designed with us in mind.

You’ll Walk Away With:
A clearer sense of what sustainable success can look like for you
Practical tools for navigating work, career growth, advocacy, and money
Strategies for building a career without burning yourself out
More confidence in your next steps
New connections with people who understand your lived experience
Resources you can revisit after the summit
A reminder that you are not broken or even asking for too much in needing work to work differently
The Future of Work Isn't About Fitting In.
It's about building workplaces—and careers—that finally fit us.
SO, If you've been waiting for permission to imagine a different way of working... This is it.
Not a Boring, Beige-y
Career Summit
The Neuroqueer Career™ Summit is not just a place to watch presentations.
We're not just gathering for a weekend. We're building a community.
That means you'll have opportunities to connect through:
Live conversations
Speaker Q&As
Community discussion spaces
Networking (the low-pressure kind)
Reflection prompts
Community activities
You can participate with your camera on or off. You can lurk. You can ask a hundred questions. You can simply listen. You can stim, crochet, doodle, pace around your living room, or cuddle your pet while watching.
There is no gold star for attending "correctly." (We don't do that here!)
Accessibility is Part of the Design
Accessibility is not an afterthought here. The summit is being designed with queer and neurodivergent participation in mind.
Our guiding question throughout planning is: Would this still work for someone experiencing sensory overwhelm, executive dysfunction, fatigue, or processing differences?
your free registration includes:
Access to LIVE summit sessions
Speaker conversations and Q&A opportunities
Community participation
Networking activities
Gentle summit updates and reminders
Access to the attendee community during the summit

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Neurodiversity: All of the speakers at the Neuroqueer Career Summit are neurodivergent—and not just auDHD. As we’re still accepting applications and don’t have a final list yet, we can’t name specifics, but neurodiversity is our priority.
Race/Nationality: We are committed to ensuring that over half of our speakers are from racialized backgrounds.
Ability: We encourage speaker applications that represent a range of abilities.
Gender + Sexuality: We invite speakers to present through the lens of all their marginalized identities, including their sexual orientation and gender identity if relevant. As a queer-owned company, we primarily advertise through queer-owned channels such as Hey Famm and Everywhere Is Queer, so we’re confident that the speakers and audience will be LGBTQIA+ and community allies.
-
Transparently, we don’t have projections for the attendance at the inaugural summit event. It’s our hope that by prioritizing diversity in our speakers, partners, and sponsors, the summit will reach a wider and more diverse audience.

From Liora Natania, Owner of CF:
A summit wasn’t even on my radar—Caitlin was the one who first brought the idea to me. They'd helped with and spoken at summits in neurodivergent and queer spaces, but had never seen one built entirely around careers.
And careers are what we're genuinely good at, so the idea of a summit felt like an opportunity to get that message in front of more people. We want to reach people we don't normally reach by joining forces with others who do this work, and to take what we've been doing in smaller workshops and build something bigger.
We've done one-on-one coaching, courses, workshops… this felt like the natural next step. We've just entered our fourth year, and a summit feels like exactly where we're meant to be right now.
Part of what drives the importance of this summit is what I keep running into “out there” in the world. There are plenty of career, HR, and even neurodivergence conferences, but I never found one that actually felt built for queer people, for non-white people, for the full range of us. The fabric of those rooms always looked the same: homogeneous.
And what’s an auDHD queer to do but build the summit I wanted to see?
The other driving factor is honestly my favorite part of running Colorful Futures. Like we've done with the blog, I love finding ways to pay other people for their expertise, give them a platform, and let them get paid to share with our community, so we can all learn from each other. So many of us share some identities but sit at completely different intersections. I see the world through my specific lens, and I know there are people in our community with lived experiences I can't speak to. The summit is a container where all of those voices can come together and serve our people in ways I can't alone. And I get to pay them for it, which is the cherry on top.
Colorful Futures started as a "me" and has become a "we," and so has who we serve. It grew from scrappy one-on-one work, to courses, to workshops with Caitlin, and now to this. The standard career advice out there just isn't built for us. For the people it's for, it's fine. For us, it's hot garbage. The summit is one more way to be of service, and to show there's another way forward.
Why Neuroqueer
Your Career?
Being “Neuroqueer” invites us to question the rules we were told we had to follow about identity, work, professionalism, communication, success, and belonging.
Because "professionalism" has too often meant asking people to hide parts of themselves just to be taken seriously.
It asks:
What if we didn’t have to build careers around masking?
What if we stopped trying to break ourselves into pieces just to fit into systems that don't fit us?
What if accessibility wasn't an afterthought?
What if community mattered as much as competition?
What if careers could make room for our humanity?
Neuroqueer Career™
Virtual Summit 2026
Come for the practical tools.
Come for the community.
Come because maybe—just maybe—the future of work belongs to the people who've spent their whole lives imagining different ways of doing things.
Come because the career summit we wish existed is finally being built.
By us.
For us!
