2025 Wrapped
It’s impossible (at least for me) to start a blog about how great 2025 was for our company without first acknowledging that 2025 also sucked. We had a few days of relative peace before the American regime change came in and started dismantling protections and human rights faster than anyone could keep up with the news headlines.
But, for this small, neurodivergent and queer owned company, it turns out that being loud and proud about who we are actually helped us find even more people who needed our help and support.
So take that, fascists. We’re still here.
Welcome to Colorful Futures’ 2025 Wrapped
Midway through 2025 we were able to hire a new career coach to increase our capacity for 1on1 clients. What a beautiful problem to solve! Thanks to the additional bandwidth, we served more clients last year than any of our previous years in business.
By the numbers…
We served 24 clients in one on one programs (including intensives, mini-packs, and 3-month packages)
We hosted ten workshops, including the seven-part Career First Aid series (which was an absolute banger — if you want the replays, reach out to us for the link!)
The top way people found us was via therapist referrals — thanks, therapists!
The Colorful Futures Podcast
The most popular episodes of the podcast in 2025 were:
Season 1 Episode 4 — Getting Fired was my Wakeup Call: How ADHD and Burnout Helped Me Discover the Power of Workplace Accommodations
This episode is so vulnerable, so full of gems, so real. This line from the episode description sums up why it landed with so many listeners:
“Here's the thing – so many of us are square pegs trying to squeeze into round holes. Our beautifully unique, neurodivergent brains just don't fit neatly into the cookie-cutter systems of most workplaces. And let me tell you, it's exhausting trying to keep up that mask all day, every day.”
It’s a must-listen if you’ve ever felt like everyone else at work had a guidebook that you never even knew existed.
Season 1 Episode 13 — Embracing Fear as a Passenger on Your Journey
This episode was Liora’s season one finale, and they shared all the ups and downs that go into running a business and starting a podcast (especially with imposter syndrome and rejection sensitivity, please clap!).
Here are some of my favorite moments and quotes from the episode:
“If only past me, who pressed record on episode one, who felt so unsure if this was the right move, felt so unsure if all of this would be worth it, if only she could see me now. So much change has happened in the last few months that has allowed me to step into this new role, that have allowed me to step into my true authentic self.”
“Fear is gonna be with you, you're gonna be scared. Every day there's gonna be, there might be something new that you're afraid of. It's important to accept that fear is part of the journey. Feeling scared is part of the journey.”
As expected, most of our listeners are in the United States. Less expected, our number two country for listeners was Germany!
Just for fun…
A little peek behind the scenes of the team that makes it all happen.
Number of custom slack emojis Liora uploaded while procrastinating: 108
Hottest topic in our #watercooler channel: Wicked For Good, but Kristina’s son was a very close second
Number of times a pet made an appearance on a team call: Too many to count
That’s a wrap on 2025—here’s to an even better 2026!
