Meet Liora Alvarez, Founder of Colorful Futures

I'm Liora, a queer AuDHDer and founder of Colorful Futures. As a career coach and content creator, I have a diverse background including corporate HR, agency recruiting, and food service management. I’m an advocate for accessibility, inclusivity, and equity in all spaces, but especially in the corporate workplace.

In November 2022, my dad passed away and a few months later so did my soulmate cat, and if that wasn’t enough, in March of 2023 I was laid off from my recruiting/HR job for the second time in 3 years.

These experiences rapidly evolved me as a person. I felt I was given an opportunity to burn everything I knew to the ground and start over. I was tired of fighting my way through corporate bullshit and feeling like I couldn’t make enough of a positive impact on the job seeker experience from inside a corporation. So that’s how Colorful Futures was born.

The Future of Work: How Colorful Futures is Reinventing the Workplace

Through Colorful Futures career coaching and HR consulting, I hope to work with individuals and organizations who are equally as passionate about creating equitable and inclusive workspaces. At Colorful Futures, I made it a goal to prioritize the experience of folks who are historically underrepresented in corporate workplaces. With that in mind, we aren’t going to create these spaces by doing things the way they’ve always been done, so we’re here to do things differently, with color. 🌈

Colorful Futures brings a unique holistic perspective to career coaching and HR work, centered on the experiences of marginalized communities. We believe that true equity and inclusion in the workplace requires intentional and active effort. That's why we're dedicated to providing *IDEAS - Inclusive, Diverse, Equitable, and Antiracist Solutions - to individuals and organizations who share our passion for transforming the modern work experience.

If you're looking for a supportive community to help you achieve your career goals, Colorful Futures is here for you.
