—it’s a necessity.

Join an intimate group program for neuroqueers who want to feel confident, supported, and seen in their job search.

Enrollment closes September 4th

The job market is not built for us.

Despite all the talk about diversity and inclusion, many hiring practices are still steeped in neurotypical, heteronormative expectations, making it hard for neuroqueers to find roles that truly fit.

Most job search advice assumes everyone has the same needs and abilities, ignoring the unique challenges faced by neuroqueer individuals—like battling burnout, navigating inaccessible hiring processes, and facing systemic discrimination.

But if you’re here, chances are you haven’t found a way to navigate this maze without losing yourself in the process. And that’s because the current system was never designed with us in mind.

You need something different.

you need a job search strategy that works with your brain, not against it.

YOU NEED:

  1. Personalized guidance that cuts through the corporate bullshit and meets you where you are, helping you avoid burnout and frustration.

  2. Tailored tools and resources that simplify the job search process, so you can focus on what matters—finding a role that aligns with your values.

  3. A supportive community that understands the unique challenges you face, offering validation and encouragement along the way.

  4. Expert insights into the hiring process from someone who’s been on both sides, so you can confidently advocate for yourself.

  5. Lifetime access to a wealth of resources, ensuring you have what you need, now and in the future, to sustain your career journey.

Once you get that sorted, don’t be surprised if…

  • Filling out applications feels easier and faster to complete.

  • You have better boundaries around your job search and are more present when enjoying your free time.

  • You start getting more positive responses and less ghosting from employers.

  • Searching for new opportunities takes less time and mental energy.

  • You have more available time in your day because you’re not spending hours on scattered tasks.'

But let’s be honest, this stuff isn’t easy.

I can help.

You’re invited to

and offers.

Supportive Community

Combat the isolation of job searching with a supportive, validating community of other queer and neurodivergent folks on this journey with you.

What exactly will we be doing?

We kick off with deep career discovery. This week is all about exploring your past experiences, identifying what you enjoy, and clarifying your career goals. We’ll also dive into defining your non-negotiables, salary expectations, and the values that will guide your job search.

Why we do it: Getting clear on what you want is the foundation of a successful job search. When you know where you’re headed, every step becomes more intentional and focused.

What we cover:

  • Breaking down your career so far—identifying what you want to keep doing and what you want to avoid

  • Defining your career values and what’s important to you in an employer

  • Figuring out the logistics of your job search (salary, benefits, accommodations, supports)

  • Deciding your non-negotiables, bare minimums, middle-ground goals, and stretch/dream vision

  • Tips for taking your career vision, goals, and translatable skills to research your next role and get clear on your next move

Week 1:
Career Discovery & Exploration

Week 2:
Resumes

This week focuses on crafting a resume that truly reflects your career goals and stands out to hiring leaders. We’ll walk through each section of your resume, discuss what’s included, why it matters, and how to write it in a way that catches attention. You’ll also learn how to tailor your resume to feature your translatable skills and align with your career goals, even if you’re targeting multiple types of jobs. Plus, each participant will receive individual feedback on their resume, including a personalized Loom video walkthrough of my feedback.

Why we do it: Your resume is often the first impression you make on potential employers. It needs to clearly and quickly communicate your fit for the roles you’re targeting.

What we cover:

  • Crafting a resume—walking through each section, what’s included, why it matters, and how to write it to catch hiring leaders’ attention

  • Featuring your career goals and translatable skills on your resume

  • How to craft resumes when you have multiple career goals or types of jobs you’re targeting

  • Translating your resume into an impactful LinkedIn profile

Week 3:
Implementation

This week is all about putting everything you’ve learned into action. We focus on making your job search more effective and sustainable, with a specific emphasis on utilizing LinkedIn, managing your time and energy, and streamlining your application process.

Why we do it: Implementation is where the rubber meets the road. This week ensures that all your hard work starts paying off in a way that feels manageable and aligned with your life.

What I guide you with:

  • Supplemental lessons on utilizing LinkedIn, including my “set it and forget it” approach and curating your feed to make the platform more enjoyable to use

  • Tips to manage your time and energy to reduce the risk of burnout and make the most of your time

  • Setting up an application tracker to stay organized and focused

  • Tips and resources to make your application efforts more effective—best practices for using job boards, filtering results to find aligned opportunities, and getting your application submitted with less time and energy, so you can live your life while navigating your search

Week 4:
Interviews

This week is all about setting yourself up for success in interviews. We’ll cover everything from preparation to execution, ensuring that you feel confident, calm, and ready to showcase your experience effectively.

Why we do it: Interviews can be nerve-wracking, especially for neuroqueers. By preparing thoroughly and practicing the right techniques, you can reduce anxiety and present your best self during the interview.

What we cover:

  • Asking for interview accommodations and identifying company culture red flags

  • Breaking down the job description and using our "Interview Prep Worksheet" to prepare with confidence

  • Formulating and telling your career story to tie your experiences together and align with your goals

  • Practicing how to talk about your experiences to reduce nerves and avoid rambling

  • Tips for staying centered, present, and confident during the interview

  • Addressing common interview questions with effective strategies

  • Questions to ask your interviewers to learn more about the company, team, leadership approach, and culture—ensuring the opportunity aligns with your goals

  • Processing, calming down, reflecting, and celebrating after the interview

Week 5:
Offers

This week, we focus on demystifying job offers and empowering you to navigate this stage with confidence. We’ll break down the components of total compensation, address common fears about negotiating, and reframe the negotiation process to make it feel more approachable.

Why we do it: Navigating job offers can be intimidating, especially when it comes to negotiating. By understanding the full scope of compensation and learning how to communicate your needs effectively, you can ensure that your next role truly supports your career (and life) goals.

What we cover:

  • Reviewing each piece of total compensation and why each is important to consider

  • Addressing the fear of an offer being rescinded if you choose to negotiate, and the reality of what happens during offer negotiations

  • Reframing offer negotiation as an offer adjustment, reducing the fear and pressure typically associated with negotiation

  • Best practices for communicating about offers, so you feel more confident and at ease during this stage

  • Real-life examples of what an offer conversation can look like

  • Learning when it’s appropriate to negotiate—or, as we’ll learn, when to ask for adjustments

Week 6:
Implementation & Graduation!

In the final week, we focus on wrapping up any remaining tasks, ensuring you have all the resources you need, and preparing you for life after the program. This week is about filling in any gaps, reflecting on your progress, and celebrating your accomplishments.

Why we do it: This final week ensures you’re leaving the program feeling confident and fully equipped to continue your job search independently, with all the tools and strategies you’ve learned.

What we review:

  • Ensuring you’re aware of all the resources and tools at your disposal during this last week of the program and post-graduation as an alum

  • Filling in any remaining gaps or addressing any lingering questions or struggles

meet your guide, Liora.

Heyyy! I'm Liora. Hopefully if you've made it here, you already know that!
If not, then... hi hello!! I'm glad you're here.

Becoming a career coach and strategist might seem like it started because of my experience as a recruiter... but it actually started wayyyy before that!

I've had many "career lives" — recruiter, coffee shop manager, graphic designer... and many, many jobs in-between. But throughout my entire career journey I've always had ONE common thought: I want to help people live more authentic, successful, sustainable lives.

I spent a LOT of my career feeling like I didn't belong. Feeling like I had so much to offer, and like I had a TON of untapped potential, if only people would give me a chance.

Throughout my careers I've had multiple opportunities to train people and develop their skills. Whether it was training them to make a latte, training new freelancers on the design team, developing baristas into supervisors and managers, teaching groups of hiring leaders how they can improve the interview experience, or holding spaces for learning and exploration of social justice and equity issues. Each experience brought me such joy and pride and gratitude.

It's been a genuine pleasure to share my knowledge and experience in HR and Recruiting with neurodivergent and queer job seekers. I love being able to help ADHDers and/or folks in the LGBTQIA+ communities get their dream jobs faster. While still maintaining balance, joy, and ease in their daily lives.

Because our intersectional identities belong at work and NeuroQueers deserve THRIVING careers 🫶

BTW, this is not another cookie-cutter
career coaching program.

It’s designed specifically for neuroqueer professionals who want a job search experience that aligns with their values and supports their authentic selves. This program isn’t about just checking boxes—it’s about creating a sustainable, personalized career strategy that honors who you are.

 FAQs

  • All of the Classes (live trainings and discussions) and Office Hours are recorded and uploaded to the course hub within a day or two. There will also be a transcript of the presentation provided with the recording. The recordings and transcripts will live in the hub and will be available even after the course ends.

The Welcome session, and Study Hall sessions are not recorded

  • Yes, you have the option of paying in full, or splitting the payment in two and paying 50% upon enrollment, and the other 50% will be due one month after.

  • The program is six weeks long. There are weekly classes/live trainings that last from 60-90 minutes. You will have tasks to complete (ie. updating your resume, applying for jobs, completing worksheets) which will likely take another 1-2 hours, depending on your situation and goals.

There is also a weekly optional Study Hall which is 2 hours that offers you a time block to complete the work for the program.

Plus, an optional weekly Office Hours block to pop in and get questions answered if you have them.

If you are staying up to date with the material throughout each week, your time investment will be around 3-4 hours weekly, or about a half hour each day.

  • I totally get that life pulls us in many different directions, and we often are juggling multiple priorities. We also can’t always know what’s coming up, sometimes life just throws curveballs at us that take our attention elsewhere. You do get lifetime access to the course materials and workshop recordings, as well as lifetime access to the Discord community. So if something comes up that prevents you from engaging fully in the live experience, you’ll still be able to gain all of the knowledge you need to support your search. HOWEVER, know that the folks who saw the most success from this program and landed jobs quickly were actively engaged in the live program – meaning, they attended most if not all of the workshops live, they were active in the Discord chats, and utilized all of the resources available in the program.

  • Unfortunately, there is only so much that I can control. I WISH I could guarantee that you’ll get a job, but the reality is, that’s not a guarantee I can make. I CAN guarantee that you’ll gain skills and knowledge that will support you both in your current search and future searches. And I CAN guarantee that you’ll gain an invaluable community of other folks who are on this journey with you. I can also share with confidence that the more time and energy you invest into this program, the more you’ll get out of it. The previous cohort participants who saw success and landed jobs attended most if not all of the workshops live, were engaged in the discussions and chats, were active in the Discord channels, and utilized all of the available 1on1 and group resources that are included in the program.

  • Due to the nature of this program, I cannot offer a refund after the program onboarding begins. If you enroll and change your mind, I will need to be informed in writing, via email to coaching@lioraalvarez.com no later than the end of the day on the Wednesday before the program begins. (For example, if the program starts on Monday, April 8th, you would have until Wednesday, April 3rd at 11:59 pm Pacific time to cancel and receive a full refund)
